Sarah Dawson, Board Member
Sarah is the University Sustainability Director at the University of Idaho. She has served as a sustainability director in higher education since 2009. She has experience developing and executing sustainability initiatives related to biodiversity and wildlife conservation, environmental justice, food, energy, water, waste, transportation, academics, and engagement and outreach. She has also taught many classes related to sustainability to undergraduate students. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the College of Charleston and a doctoral degree in wildlife biology from Utah State University. In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking with her dogs, working in her garden, seeing new wild places, and reading.
