Repair Café
Moscow Public Library brings their Repair Café to the Palouse Nature Center! Community members are invited to bring their broken objects to the Nature Center (1040 Rodeo Dr., Moscow) on Saturday, July 12, from 10:00am – 2:00pm.
Volunteer experts will share their skills with visitors to repair books, clothing and textiles, jewelry, small household appliances, toys, bikes, and other items. In addition, there will be a station for knife and scissor sharpening, with a two-item limit. There will also be a gluing station with a variety of glues. Light refreshments will be provided. There is no guarantee that items will be fully repaired. Attendees bring items at their own risk.
The Repair Café movement started in the Netherlands in 2009 with the goals of reducing waste, teaching participants practical repair skills, and fostering a new appreciation for old possessions.
Funding for this program is provided by the Friends of the Moscow Library. This program is free and open to the public.

The Biffs is a project started by Hannah Snyder and Joel Stevens to develop handcrafted original music and play it with unusual and familiar covers. No two show are alike! It’s always a fresh take, whether The Biffs play as a duo, trio, or quatro, with a medley of friends that treat the music like a home to come back to.
