
Laurie Haener, Palouse Roots Educator
Laurence Haener is an artist and teacher. He has lived on the Palouse for 7 years and brings a history of art and ecological restoration to the Palouse Roots program. His teaching style emphasizes the importance of children’s connection with art and nature, giving them the skills to grow this bond for a lifetime. He also works as a farmhand for Rose Creek Seed, cultivating native wildflowers for seed grown to re-sow the Palouse Prairie. In his free time, Laurie enjoys gardening, driving to scenic spots, and living in the country.
