Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute
“connecting people, place and community”
Save the date! Join us on October 21st from 1-4pm for our enchanting annual fall festival, celebrating the changing of the seasons and truly connecting people, place, and community. You’ll get a “taste” of meaningful and healthy experiences in the four areas in which PCEI engages community:
🍂 Living: Press and taste apple cider along with locally PCEI-harvested honey and maple syrup. Additional food can be purchased from Humble Burger, and we’ll have live music from The Ice Cream Band, candle making, and face painting.
🍂 Learning: Community guests and partners assist to share an amazing diversity of hands-on activities including raptors from the WSU Raptor Club, touch tables, arts and crafts, mounts, pelts, and showcasing animals found in nature to spark curiosity and enhance nature-based knowledge.
🍂 Serving: Information will be available regarding ongoing AmeriCorps, volunteer, and membership opportunities to explore and discover how we can actively protect local flora, fauna, and ecotones.
🍂 Restoring: Make a difference by transplanting seedlings that will forest local restoration sites in years to come.
We look forward to seeing you at the Nature Center, 1040 Rodeo Drive in Moscow!
