Featured Readers: Kim Harris-Thacker and Madeleine Johnson

Stories are Kim’s passion, whether she’s reading them or writing them. A former editor and teacher, Kim now finds herself in the lucky position of being a stay-at-home mom to two girls who never tire of having books read to them. Kim loves unique, beautiful settings in stories, so this week’s Beach theme makes her happy, happy!

Madeleine is 12 years old and going into 7th grade. She has been an avid reader from a very young age and has different books, placed in different rooms around the house, so no matter where she goes she is always prepared to dive into a story! Madeleine is the big sister to three siblings and is always willing to help. She loves to cook, sew, swim, and, of course, read!
