Playing in the Ponds

Spring is the perfect time to get outside and discover the natural world bursting with new life. Join Palouse Land Trust and Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) for a fun morning of pond and wetland exploration in the ponds on the PCEI Nature Center Campus and Rabbit Hills Preserve.

Families and kids of all ages (adults included!) are welcome to join in the fun. Learn about the many species of plants, animals, and insects found in the aquatic ecosystem from local experts. See these little critters up close at the investigation station, learn about the importance of wetlands in our ecosystem, and more.

This event is free and open to all, but donations are greatly appreciated and accepted.
