Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute
“connecting people, place and community”
Animals of the Night is one of the most popular autumn events on the Palouse. This free event will feature live animals, interactive exhibits, face painting and crafts, as well as a campfire and music. Hot food and beverages will be available by donation. All contributions directly benefit the continued work of PCEI’s education program.
This year we are sponsored by Gritman Medical Center, Martin Trail and Northwestern Mutual, Jeremy Tamsen, Allegra Print Signs Marketing, Hyperspud Sports, Pickard Orthodontics, Landeck Forseth Luna, Attorneys at Law, Jeff’s Electric, Hahn Event Rentals, NRS, Main Street Squeeze Juice & Smoothie, Wilson Banner Ranch, and Hansel and Gretel
All the fun activities and stations at Animals of the Night would not be possible without a whole lot of talented and dedicated volunteers:
Palouse Roots – children’s activities and astronomy
Idaho Fish and Game (IDFG) – Raccoons and Skunks
Wolf Education & Research Center – Canine Station
WSU Raptor Club – Raptors
Aldrich Entomology Club at the University of Idaho and WSU Entomology Graduate Student Association – Spiders and Insects
WSU Wildlife Society – Bats, Beavers and other stations
WSU Circle K International – parking and other volunteer activities
Travis Seaborn, WSU PhD Candidate – Amphibians and Reptiles
Palouse Unit AFS – Fish
Thank you!
