Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute
“connecting people, place and community”
Since 2009, the Alternative Giving Market of the Palouse (AGMP) has given residents of the Palouse a meaningful alternative to holiday gift giving and an opportunity to support local nonprofits. The AGMP enhances community well-being and sustainability through celebrating personal charity and community partnerships. Last year, the AGMP raised $18,000 for local charities–nearly double the amount raised in 2010! The Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute (PCEI) is honored to have been chosen with 29 other local nonprofits to participate in the 2013 AGMP. All donations to PCEI through the AGMP will go to support education programs that get kids outdoors and connected to nature. |
Give online to PCEI November 29-December 14 and you’ll receive a beautiful card for your recipient to let them know you’ve made a gift to PCEI in their name: $10 – Help reconnect a child to nature $25 – Buy books and craft supplies for PCEI’s Summer Storytime Series $50 – Buy educational materials for PCEI’s annual family event, Animals of the Night $100 – Give a classroom the gift of nature-based education and exploration $ Any amount – Help us continue to nurture the next generation of environmental stewards |
