Tayson Sargis, AmeriCorps Restoration Technician

Born and raised in Southern Idaho, Tayson has always cherished Idaho’s landscaped and communities. In 2021, he moved to Moscow to pursue a degree in Environmental Science with a minor in ecology. In 2022, Tayson interned for USFWS in North Dakota and became fascinated by prairie restoration and regenerative agriculture. In the future, he plans to attend graduate school to study restoration ecology. In his free time, you can find him out mountain biking, camping, plant keeping, or reading.
