Youth Cycling Clinic

$7The cycling clinic will cover the basics of bicycle safety, maintenance, and riding skills. The overall goal is to promote bicycling as a healthy lifelong activity, competitive sport, and a mode of transportation. Participants will be divided into groups based on previous experience, age, and skill level. The clinic will include demonstration and practice of BMX-style riding on the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute Pump Track. Suitable for younger riders still on “striders”. Participants need to have a bicycle in good working condition, preferably one suited for off-road riding. Helmets must be worn by all participants. USA Cycling-licensed riders with racing experience in road and off-road racing will be leading the clinics. The clinics are sponsored by Palouse Bicycle Racing, a non-profit organization focused on youth-oriented cycling activities.
