Moscow High School Performing Arts is proud to partner with PCEI this year when we bring “Urinetown, the Musical” by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis to the Moscow High School stage.
The inspiration for the play, and for Drama Director Cathy Brinkerhoff to choose it, comes from the theme of water conservation and sustainability programs. “Urinetown” is an absurd story of a dystopian future where the reservoirs have all dried up and there has been a 20 year drought. With the water shortage in California and other locations, this musical has a timely message and Ms. Brinkerhoff chose to produce it after the PCEI Education Outreach team spoke during Mark Shipely’s Earth Science class last fall.
Tickets will be $10.00 for general seating and $8.00 for students and senior citizens and will be sold at the door. We hope to see supports of PCEI and arts in education at the Moscow High School production of “Urinetown, the Musical”.
