Latah County Solid Waste, the City of Moscow and Latah Sanitation will be sponsoring Tire Amnesty Day on Saturday, May 31, 2014, 8am – 4pm. This one-day event allows Latah County residents to dispose of passenger and pickup tires, without rims, at no charge (no businesses please).
Tire drop-off stations will be placed at the following locations around the county for Tire Collection only:
Deary Bulky Waste Site
Located on Line Street, behind the grain elevators.
Genesee Bulky Waste Site
Located on Morscheck Rd across from the sewer lagoons.
Juliaetta Bulky Waste Site
South of Juliaetta on HWY 3 past the ball park, across from Browning Cut Stock.
Potlatch Bulky Waste Site
South on Pine St. 1/4 mile to the old pit.
401 N. Jackson, Moscow. Tires will be collected in the lot just south of the recycling center.
Solid Waste Processing Facility
3299 Highway 8 East (Troy Highway). Tires will be accepted (at no charge on this day only) from Latah County Residents.
