You’re invited to a Spiral Walk with families from Palouse Roots, our Nature School, and Nature Explorers, our after-school camp. What’s a solstice spiral? In a traditional spiral walk, pine boughs are placed on the ground in a spiral labyrinth with a light in the center. Each individual walks the spiral and adds their own light. This is a way for the community to come together to celebrate the shortest day of the year and the return of the longer days. We are each our own light, but together as a community, we shine bright!
Join us for this family-friendly event on Sunday, December 18th at 2:00pm at the Palouse Nature Center. This is a great opportunity to find out more about our kids’ programs!
