PCEI and the City of Moscow host the Moscow Watershed Festival each spring. Approximately 200 third grade students from Moscow elementary schools attend. In addition, parent volunteers, local water resource professionals and community volunteers participate and help ensure the success of these festivals.
Students learn about our local watershed by rotating through educational stations. Station topics can vary and in the past have included: water conservation, macroinvertebrate studies, watersheds, wetlands exploration and so much more!
“I liked the discovery process offered, the tempo of teaching was well paced, students were able to leave a legacy, a lasting impact and make a difference.” – Moscow Teacher
